Genocide-Enabler-in-Chief, Dion Ngute's Murderous Peace Offer Still Unraveling

Updated: Jun 7, 2019

On May 24, 2019, the trigger-happy army of Octogenarian Dictator Paul Biya wiped out a family of 5, among them a grandmother aged over 80 in Bali Nyonga village in Mezam, some 15 km from Bamenda. The people killed have been described by their neighbours in the village as peace-loving and gregarious citizens who were never known to have ever carried firearms.

The SCLC received authoritative information from witnesses that when the first family member was shot at, the others arrived at the scene to rush him to the District hospital only 200 metres away. The hospital staff refused to let them use their stretcher for fear the military would burndown the hospital and possibly kill them as they had threatened to do on several occasions. The embattled family members picked a ladder to lay the bleeding brother on and transport for medical attention. While they were trying to place the victim on the ladder, Paul Biya's soldiers who were still hiding in the bushes around opened fire again indiscriminately and killed everyone present. That is how 5 souls perished at the hands of a reckless and uncultured army.

Investigations carried out on the ground by the SCLC revealed that ever since the passage of genocide-enabler-in-chief, Prime Minister Dion Ngute with hypocritical peace plants in hand, an average of 20 people are killed in the North West and 25 in the South West daily.

The SCLC is calling on the United Nations Security Council, the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russia, Germany and other countries that have taken interest in halting Dictator Biya’s scourge against humanity to urgently initiate an emergency military humanitarian intervention to save lives.

The SCLC seizes this opportunity to inform national and international public opinion that Yaounde is now determined to wipe out the entire active population of Southern Cameroons because they are aware, they will have no legally backed claims over Southern Cameroons' territory at any third party-mediated negotiations. This calls for urgent action to avert a humanitarian disaster of unimaginable proportions from unfolding in broad world view.

The SCLC is a coalition of liberation movements, groups and organizations seeking the independence of the former UN trust territory of British Southern Cameroons.
