A lot of children are being orphaned as their parents and other relatives get killed by the day and in good numbers. Recently, even babies as young as five months are not spared the hit of bullets flowing from the barrels of the guns of dictator Paul Biya’s army. The need for humanitarian assistance in the form of medication, foodstuff, clothing, the provision of potable drinking water and shelter is shouting. The United Nations, the United States of America as well as rights organizations say the conflict is gradually spiraling out of control and could soon become one of the greatest human disasters of our time. The well-being of these suffering masses is our concern!

 

The Ambazonia Relief Fund, ARF was founded in 2018 by some of the leaders of the Southern Cameroons revolution as a charity, with the view to alleviating the sufferings of the civilian population. The Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium- CACSC, the Southern Cameroons National Council- SCNC and the Southern Cameroons Youth League (Now African Peoples’ Liberation Movement- APLM) were the founding bodies. Today they have been joined by the Interim Government-IG, the Movement for the Restoration of the Independence of Southern Cameroons- MoRISC, Republic of Ambazonia Nationals- RoAN and the Federation of Southern Cameroons Women Organizations- FSCWO. However, the ARF has a board of directors made up of people from all walks of life and its status allows it to function today as an autonomous body.
